The Emergency Support Fund is here to support you with timely, short-term financial assistance if you're facing an unexpected hardship that could impact your ability to stay enrolled. Whether you're dealing with a car repair, sudden housing issue, medical expense, or another unforeseen challenge, we’re here to help you stay on track.
You may be eligible to receive one-time emergency funding of up to $500 per academic year if you're experiencing an unforeseen financial crisis.
You are eligible if you:
Are a Curriculum or Continuing Education student
Are enrolled in 6 or more credit hours
Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher
Have experienced an unanticipated financial emergency or hardship within the past 30–34 days of the current academic year
Funding may be used for:
Rent or utilities
Internet (if you attend online courses)
Car repairs
Childcare
Medical, dental, or vision needs
The fund does not cover::
Technology purchases (laptops, phones, etc.)
Car or mortgage payments
Court fees or legal expenses
Clothing
Alcohol or non-essential purchases
To apply, you’ll need to provide supporting documentation — such as a bill, invoice, or proof of job loss — that clearly shows the nature and date of your emergency.
All documents must be submitted through the online application form.
