In this course, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed for post-primary certification in Mammography. You’ll learn how to ensure equipment quality, position patients correctly, perform specialized breast imaging procedures, and apply digital mammography techniques in line with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
After completing the course and meeting clinical experience requirements, you may be eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) post-primary certification exam in Mammography.
You must be a registered or registry-eligible radiologic technologist to enroll in this course.
